 Dr Michael Macri received his medical degree from the Chicago Medical School and completed residencies in General Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City and the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, MA. He was part of an elite trauma team where he served as Chief Resident. While there he treated all forms of head and facial trauma. He continued his training in the field of Family Practice at St Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Paterson, N.J., again serving as Chief Resident. He was an Emergency Physician at Pascack Valley Hospital, Westwood, N.J., Englewood Hospital in Englewood , N.J., and Holy Name Hospital Teaneck N.J. for six years.
Dr Macri's extensive surgical background and clinical knowledge provides a comprehensive perspective into your aesthetic needs. His unique blending of two specialties has placed him at the forefront of aesthetic medicine. Dr Macri is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice, a Fellow of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery and a member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. He is the past Chairman of the Family Practice Department of Pascack Valley Hospital.
Dr Macri was featured in the 2007 Guide to America's Top Doctors and was featured in Cambridege's Who's Who Registry for Professionals for 2007-2008. He has been selected by Alma Lasers as an educator of fellow physicians and lectures across the country in aesthetic laser techniques.
Dr Macri was featured in the 2008 Record Reader's Poll of Top 5 in Aesthetic Medicine in Bergen County. In April 2009 he was became distinguished as the
