A Non Surgical Face lift (sometimes called a liquid face lift) uses Botox Cosmetic in the upper face (above the eyes) and dermal fillers in the middle and lower face. Botox Cosmetic works by relaxing the musculature of the forehead to give a smooth, even, and refreshed appearance.
Dermal Fillers are used in the cheeks to restore symmetry and volume to the middle face. Volume and collagen are restored to correct drooping and the effects of aging. Additionally, fillers are placed in the Naso-labial folds (laugh lines) and Marionette lines around the mouth and chin. This provides volume in the lower face. The resulting "scaffolding" that dermal fillers provide supports the major structures of the face. Small amounts of filler can also be placed around the jaw line to smooth out the contour and help with sagging of the jowls.
Once these two important steps have been performed your rejuvenation can be completed by either Skin Tightening (to firm up the skin), or Laser Skin Resurfacing (to smooth out the skin and tighten the skin over the facial structures) this last step especially promotes collagen synthesis ... the key to long lasting rejuvenation.
